In 2014, I co-founded The Prism Institute in response to the bullying my gay son experienced at school. I was committed to sharing with others what I’d learned in my graduate program about LGBTQ+ psychology. Since then I’ve been providing affirmative LGBTQ+ education, professional development, and DEI training to audiences of various disciplines. Mental and medical health services providers, teachers and academic administrators, businesses, civic and community organizations can all benefit by receiving LGBTQ+ affirmative training.
